Mermaids at the Aquarium

It’s all free with plenty of hands on opportunities. On land, surf legend Juan Rodriquez teaches general surfboard maintenance and offers help with small repairs. Under the palm trees, professionals from Gibbon Slacklines demonstrate their tight-rope like sport and Waboba Balls will be flying and bouncing off the water. The Ian Tillman Foundation offers skateboard safety tips and free helmets to kids. Lightning Jack sets the tropical mood with steel drum music while kids add their special decoupage touches to an old surfboard that will be sold or auctioned off to benefit area causes.  Price: Free.
