Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub, 149 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg Florida. Downtown St Pete. This is the third year for this huge St. Patrick’s Day party, with 19 hours of drinking, nine bars and non-stop music by 20 live bands. The party ends at 3 a.m.

Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa  This weekend’s theme is Shamrocks and Shenanigans with Highland games, a Celtic village, Irish dancers, pub crawl, kilt competition, Scotch Egg eating competition, junior caber toss, beer tasting and vow renewals.

St. Patrick’s Day River O’Green Fest

Curtis Hixon Park, 600 N Ashley Drive, Tampa  In honor of Ponce “O’Leon” de Leon, and St. Patrick’s Day, Mayor Bob Buckhorn has decided to dye Hillsborough River kelly green between the Cass Street Bridge and Kennedy Bridge and has invited numerous food trucks and entertainers to the party. Other activities include a kid’s craft area, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fun Zone, soccer collies, a visit from the Tampa Bay Lightning Street Team, potato toss, sack races, jig contest and a strength competition. Free.

Macdinton’s St. Patty’s Day Party

MacDinton’s Irish Pub St. Petersburg, 226 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg  The doors at MacDinton’s and Jannus open at 11 a.m. and the party hits two stages with DJ’s, bagpipers, Irish step dancers and live music by Tyson Marshall, the Paper Stanley’s, Spirits Down, the Highwaters, Go Daddies, Green Sunshine and the Chris McCarty Band. The pub closes at 3 a.m. $10.

Green Iguana’s Hawaiian Village, 2520 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa  Leprechauns will run wild around the pool at this all day St. Patrick’s Day pool party hosted by 93.3 FLZ’s Ratboy, StayPuff and Brian Fink. Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Night Parade

Downtown Ybor City,  E Seventh Avenue and N 14th Street, Tampa FL  Krewes from across Florida celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with beads, floats and more. Streetcar service will run until 2 a.m., but service will temporarily end in front of the car barn, south of Seventh Avenue, from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Free.

Hyde Park 2012 Home Tour

Kate Jackson Community Center at Anderson Park,  821 S Rome Ave., Tampa  Meet at Kate Jackson Park when nine private homes open their doors for annual “Then and Now” tour of homes. The tour features new construction, original homes that have been restored and a backyard garden. Tour bracelet and map provided day of tour.
