I took the challenge!

Today, we’re launching the Last Straw Challenge!

The premise is simple:

1. Millions of plastic straws pollute our ocean where endangered animals like sea turtles, albatross and seals can choke on them.

2. The average American eats out four times a week and almost everyone gets a straw (or two).

3. If 25,000 people skip the straw every time, we can keep 5 million plastic straws out of our ocean and landfills.

Making that impact starts with you. Will you take the challenge?

Click here to take the Last Straw Challenge now. Join thousands of people across the country and stir up a change in the way we order our drinks.

Last year, volunteers picked up 555,007 straws during our International Coastal Cleanup®. But that’s just a drop in the bucket.

With the Last Straw Challenge, we can start to change the conversation. Every time you skip the straw, tell your dining mates and server that you’re doing it to help our ocean and ask them to join you!
